Open Call for Participation in the Forum of the 8th IFPA
September 25 – 28, 2026 / Drama, Greece
Theme: “Post-Anthropocene: Libidinal Foldings”
IFPA invites theorists, researchers, curators, academics, and artist-researchers to submit proposals for the Forum and Performances of the 8th IFPA, exploring the intersection of performativity, biotechnology, and the post-human condition.
This year’s edition, titled “Post-Anthropocene: Libidinal Foldings”, investigates the transition to a post-digital reality where the body is redefined in its hybrid essence. Drawing from post-humanist philosophy and queer theory, the concept of the body is reconsidered not as a biological constant, but as a fluid field of libidinal transformations.
The Forum seeks to engage with the “foldings” of desire and subjectivity: poetic, political, and algorithmic. It invites critical perspectives on how technology reconfigures sexuality and identity within the emergent physical and virtual territories of the Post-Anthropocene.
