Open Call for Participation in the Viewing Room of the 8th IFPA

Open Call for Participation in the Viewing Room of the 8th IFPA

September 24 – 27, 2026

Theme: “Post-Anthropocene: Libidinal Foldings”

As part of the program for the 8th International Forum of Performance Art (IFPA), the organizing team invites artists and creators to submit their proposals for the Viewing Room, a digital platform dedicated to the intersection of performativity, image, and technology.

This year, the Viewing Room expands its scope by introducing a specialized category for Experimental Films, alongside Digital Performances and Video Art. We seek works that engage creatively with the central theme: “Post-Anthropocene: Libidinal Foldings”, investigating the hybridity of the body and the fluid boundaries of desire within the post-digital condition.

The call encourages innovative visual languages that challenge the traditional limits of the screen and redefine the “living” experience through the prism of scientific and technological evolution. The selected works will frame the Viewing Room, serving as a global stage for artistic dialogue and hybrid storytelling.

Deadline for submissions: June 14th, 2026
