I use video and sound as a place where ideas are realized, not described, and the body is the medium of transferring ideas to this place. Through the act of recording, I introduce elements from pornography in order to emphasize, through elements of contradiction, the difference between representation and experience, the material substance of the body in relation to its digitized form. Where pornography attempts to represent, I attempt to highlight the inability of representation to capture experience. The repetition and rhythm of the movement of the body and sound are the mechanisms that create the relationship with the real body, symbolically presenting the content of desire and death.
