Open Call for Participation in the Viewing Room of the 7th International Forum of Performance Art (IFPA)
Theme: Homoio-topias / “return to the chōra”
“In Plato’s Timaeus, ‘chora’ is an intermediate essence – a transformative space where Ideas take on physical form. A site of transition, becoming, and consciousness. A political and ontological act of return. This year’s theme draws inspiration from this Platonic notion of ‘chora’ as a space of embodied thought and creative emergence. The ‘homoio-topias’ are formed through the intersections of various heterotopias—local or digital, real or imaginary. Within them, performance becomes a living body of meaning, reinvention, and re-inhabitation.” — Ioannis Mitrou, Artistic Director of IFPA
