Naked Statelessness
Naked Statelessness is a video performance that examines the body as a transformative and transitional site; an embodied chora, in dialogue with the Platonic notion of space as a locus of reception and reimagination. Drawing on Stoic philosophy and its cosmological principle of sympatheia, the work engages with the interconnectedness of all beings within a living, ever-changing universe. At the same time, it interrogates how moral and legal structures, such as citizenship and sovereignty, are inscribed upon the vulnerable, stateless body.
